Counseling in the rehabilitation of disorders of learning and behavior

Screening of 2 films (subtitled in English) lasting 15 minutes each and a power point used during the period of the report for another 30 min (intervention of 1 hour in total).
The film, made in the study of neuro-cognitive rehabilitation DADA Research Center for Development of Human Potential of Rome and duly authorized by the parents of minors, reproduce the stages of the interview session for rehabilitation of a child and a boy with a diagnosis of ASD (Learning disability). The report focuses on the characteristics and usefulness of communication conducted along the lines of counseling. Rogers turned to the emotions and feelings involved in neuro-cognitive rehabilitation: in particular, emphasized the dynamics of the emotional world caused by bodily sensations that arise over the area skills of reading, writing, comprehension, memory, verbal exposition, etc. during school learning.
They consider aspects such as motivation, self-esteem, autonomy and self-regulation, attention span and concentration, memory, etc..
It shows how, in the rehabilitation neuro-cognitive interview counseling is effective even when compared to stimulation of the process of association and verbalization of thought and speech, as well as half the potential and functional access to the new elements available for rehabilitation.
